The Romanesque church in Weißensee was extensively renovated and restored. The town church consists of a longitudinally rectangular hall in late Gothic style and an adjoining high Gothic choir. It is used as a cultural church, concerts and other events take place in the former church rooms.
This meant that special demands were also made on the lighting. LED pendant lights, type car.a 160, with separate switchable and dimmable direct and indirect light components were installed in the hall.
Historically, pendant lights are a typical and popular form of church lighting because they enable a glare-free illumination without major architectural intervention.
In the choir building, where a stage is usually also set up, LED spotlights type lo.nely 3, were installed at a height of approx. 12 metres. These are also switchable and dimmable. The spotlights with a light output of 3000 lm (3000K) serve as stage lighting.
LED spotlights, type gin.o 2, are installed on the sides to illuminate the altar. The spotlights are plugged into vertically installed tracks type control.x. Different accessories allow individual lighting of the altar.
