Precise lighting solution for the Wybrzeże Theatre

The historic Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk is one of Poland’s most important stages and is renowned for its contemporary productions. During the recent renovation, the lighting design faced the challenge of creating an atmosphere that is both functional and atmospheric – from the precise illumination of the auditorium to the inviting design of the foyer. The planners opted for lighting from Hoffmeister to achieve the combination of technical precision and atmospheric effect.

lo.nely 3 spotlights were used in the auditorium. They are mounted in control.x power rails and illuminate the rows of seats with a pleasant, uniform, glare-free light of 3000 K. Their precise lens technology ensures differentiated light distribution, which optimises both visual comfort and the atmosphere in the room.
In the foyer, general lighting was achieved using downlights from the complx.100 series. These combine high efficiency and excellent colour rendering with discreet integration into the architecture, creating an inviting lighting atmosphere in the entrance area.
