Whenever targeted, focussed illumination is required, spotlights are the luminaire of choice. Both as individual luminaires and in combination, they offer a wide variety of options for direct illumination of objects, areas or entire rooms. Areas of application for spotlights with LED technology

Basically, spotlights with LED light sources can be used for a wide range of applications in many different areas. Typical applications include:

Spotlights for pictures and objects in museums, galleries and other exhibitions
Lighting for event and meeting rooms
spotlighting of foyers, entrance areas or other prestigious rooms for accentuated staging
Needs-based lighting for high-quality living and working areas
Illumination of objects, surfaces and paths in outdoor areas

Depending on requirements, LED spotlights can be used both outdoors and indoors for functional and ambient lighting. If required, integration into emergency lighting is also possible at any time.

The luminaires – design meets technical sophistication

Depending on the model, spotlights can be used in different versions. Our individual luminaires from the ak.tina series, for example, are available in three installation types:

as recessed luminaire
as surface-mounted luminaire

as a floor lamp
on rod

All spotlights can be rotated and swivelled in two axes and thus universally aligned. Locking the adjusted light direction ensures a permanently optimal lighting effect. Surfaces in black, white and silver ensure that the appearance of the luminaires matches the rest of the design concept.

The lighting technology

LED lighting technology stands for maximum luminous efficacy with minimum energy input. Our point luminaires of the lo.nely series achieve luminous intensities of up to 1,560 lumens with a power consumption of only 14 watts. The luminous efficacy is optimised via individual light control, which can be adapted to the location by means of different lenses and apertures. The range extends from clearly focussed spots with different scattering distances to wide-area illumination of objects, backgrounds or areas.

Protection – the right standard of protection for every area of application

Our spotlights with LED technology are protected to at least IP20 and are therefore also suitable for damp rooms such as bathrooms or WCs. From IP44, we also offer point luminaires for use in the immediate vicinity of sanitary objects and outdoors. This means that planners and users can always find the right product in our ak.tina, lo.nely or gin.o series, with a free choice of optimal lighting and optics, in accordance with current technical standards.
