New lighting was needed for the pedestrian zone and park paths in Zurich. One thing was particularly important to the head of project planning for the EWZ public lighting in the city of Zurich: “Sustainability and the careful use of resources require a high quality standard of the products in order to be able to guarantee long and trouble-free operation,” explains Thomas Rutschi. These wishes were fulfilled with the lights from SILL.

For this project, special optics were developed to limit the back and front scattered light to a minimum. In addition, monitoring and sensor modules were installed for needs-based lighting control. To ensure future-proof and sustainable operation, the SILL lights were equipped with two Zhaga bases. The customer was particularly impressed by the variety of combination options and the large selection of light distribution curves as well as the timeless and modern design.
