Efficient lighting concept for the Barbarossa Thermal Baths in Göppingen

The Barbarossa Therme in Göppingen offers its guests a diverse experience combining sport, relaxation and health. In the spacious bathing and wellness areas, lighting plays a central role in safety, orientation and atmosphere. The requirement was for a lighting concept that combines functional brightness with a pleasant, glare-free lighting atmosphere – even under the demanding conditions of humidity and heat. To meet these requirements, lighting solutions from the SILL brand were chosen.

Robust spotlight technology for demanding environments from SILL

SILL 155 series projectors were used for the various functional areas of the Barbarossa Therme. These were installed both as indirect lighting for uniform basic illumination and as asymmetrical direct lighting along the edges of the pools. Thanks to their robust construction, high protection class and precise light control, they ensure homogeneous illumination, minimised glare and maximum safety – even in the humid environment of a swimming pool.
