SILL Facade projectors – put your building in the right light
The illumination of buildings presents lighting technology with challenges of its own. In contrast to room or object lighting, much larger areas with significantly greater luminous distances need to be illuminated. And this has to be done outdoors, i.e. under the influence of sun, rain and frost.
Facade lighting – a recurring task not only for monuments
When people think of illuminated buildings, they think above all of outstanding historical monuments such as castles, palaces or even monuments. Today, however, the subject of light plays a essential role in the staging of modern architecture. Similar to a painting or a work of art, the formal language of a building only comes into its own through the harmonious interplay of light and shadow. Whether at dusk or in complete darkness – suitable luminaires in conjunction with a comprehensive lighting concept can be used to deliberately show and direct the effect of a building.
Linear lighting – so that the light is not lost on the building facade
Although the requirements for light outside buildings are just as variable in appearance as they are indoors, spotlights are the wrong choice here in most cases. That’s why our led.modular lighting modules offer linear solutions for facade lighting. Construction lengths from 231 to 961 millimetres offer the right facade projectors for both spot and wide-area illumination. Whether direct lighting or grazing light for shading and enlivening wall and facade surfaces, our building projectors provide lighting planners and designers with an optimal tool.
Demand-oriented light modulation with variable luminous intensity
Our wallwashers enable a beam angle of 5 to 45 degrees and thus all possibilities from targeted spot lighting on the building to wide-area illumination. Luminous intensities between 400 and 9,450 lumens optimally highlight even large wall surfaces and high building heights. Modulations from spot to “oval flood” offer the possibility of free lighting design, entirely in line with the planned lighting concept.
IP65 – maximum requirements for outdoor use
For outdoor use, we equip our facade projectors with IP65 protection. This means complete contact protection, so that additional protective measures are generally not necessary. In addition, they are impervious to dust and water jets from any direction. This ensures maximum service life with minimum susceptibility.
