“La Mer” (the sea) is Dubai’s newest beach district. On a total of 1.24 million square metres of existing and newly reclaimed land with extensive boardwalks and beach promenades, one can choose between a wide variety of shops, restaurants & bars.
This relaxed environment invites you to shop, dine and relax. The appearance of La Mer is striking – modern industrial design, neon signs, steel beams and many street murals reminiscent of American cities from the late 1960s.

The entire stretch of retail facades is illuminated with Hoffmeister’s led.modular series. These lighting solutions have been carefully matched to the conditions of the location since the conception phase. The recessed floor series is tailored to the low construction depth and equipped with external control gear. This facilitates installation in the wooden floorboards with shallow mounting depths. The rust-red special colour of the front frame helps the luminaires blend inconspicuously into the building fabric.
