Efficient lighting for the exhibition hall

Designed in 2001 by the British star architect and industrial designer Nicholas Grimshaw, Hall 3 of the “Frankfurter Messe” is one of the most modern and beautiful exhibition halls in Europe.
The existing lighting concept with spotlights and 1,000 W high-pressure discharge lamps (lighting using a deflection mirror) should be completely converted to efficient LED technology.

Projector 14L

By using highly efficient LED projectors of type 14L with an extremely narrow beam angle of 7°, the total connected load could be reduced by over 60%. Thanks to the narrow beam lenses, the adjustable deflection mirrors are hit precisely and distribute the light very evenly across the exhibition area via the mirrors.
Thanks to the high protection class IP65 and a permissible ambient temperature of 55°, maintenance effort is also reduced to an absolute minimum.
