Color freedom for the Europaturm

The Europaturm is a telecommunications tower owned by Deutsche Telekom in Frankfurt am Main. At 337.5 m high, it is the second highest in Germany after the Berlin “Alex” television tower (368 m). The precise LED technology from Hoffmeister, brand SILL, enables significant energy savings when lighting the tower.

Projector Serie 14
The Europa Tower in Frankfurt is illuminated with white light from the floor to the pulpit (227m) using the Type 14L projector. The platforms above the pulpit were optimized in terms of lighting technology and illuminated primarily in the characteristic Telekom magenta. The 14M projector with special LED technology and lighting technology tailored to the size of the platforms was used. This spotlight enables the display of various freely selectable colors using external DMX control. The well-known Telekom color magenta is used in regular operations.
